In loving memory of my convertible

I started this blog as a class assignment, but I had a lot of fun thinking about topics and sharing my road experiences. Now that I have my life back again, I decided I wanted to continue blogging about my commute.

Since my last post, I have retired my Sebring convertible. That car has been my apartment on wheels for 10 years. I have so many memories in that car; it's hard to part with it. As my friends say, that car is "Jen". Each scratch and bump on it was directly related to road trip or an outing with a loved one.

The reason I retired my car was because I was beginning to get scared about commuting with over 200,000 miles on it. I would hate to be abandoned so far from home. So now, the car is chilling in my grandpa's garage collecting dust craving for my attention. Now that the weather is hot and sunny, I miss it even more. So there is just something so fun about driving "topless" during the summer (not so fun in the winter).

Do you have any fun convertible memories?
